Paul Liu, the founder of the Great Wall Consulting & Trading, earned his M.S. in Geology in 1988. He taught and conducted researches at a Chinese geological college before he came to the U. S.. Although we just started our business here in Colorado, we used to be the earliest mineral collectors and dealers in China. As mineralogists, we started collecting and selling mineral specimens for museums in China in 1984. We collected many of our minerals and fossils while we taught and did our research projects in the field. We have been the major supplier of the Chinese materials for more than ten years. Paul has published over 10 articles in various fields of geology. He co-authered two books and had them published in China, called Chinese Ornamental Rocks (1994) and Extraordinay Rocks: Search, Evaluation, Collection and Trade (1998).
Mineral specimens, tektites, pietersite, meteorites, fossils, carvings are the major merchandise we sells. Our projects also include:
